Rebecca Calloway

Rebecca Calloway is a writer, cat mother, and plant murderer currently living in Seattle. Originally from Santa Rosa, California, she attended the University of California, Riverside where she studied creative writing and was voted “Best Critic” by her peers. While there, the university’s faculty awarded her the Chancellor’s Performance Award and the inaugural Dwight Yates Prize for Fiction.

Her writing has appeared in Allegory Ridge, Mosaic Art & Literary Journal, and The Master Reviews’ “Reading Through the Awards” series, to name a few.

She was a student of Rebecca Makkai’s Novel in a Year course for the ’22-’23 year.
